Urban Dog Care is insured by Pet Sitters Associates, LLC for your piece of mind.
General Policies
- Standard hours for walking services are 9am – 6pm on weekdays. Walks on weekends or national holidays are scheduled as available and are subject to a surcharge.
- Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance or the standard rate applies.
- All services must be booked a minimum of 48 hours in advance of desired date and time. Services booked within 24 hours, when available, may be subject to a surcharge.
- We believe firmly in the privacy and security of our human clientele. UDC NYC handlers enter your home only precisely as directed.
- UDC NYC supports the local workers that keep our city running. As such, we offer a discount on all services for those in the educational, medical, and other public service professions. Ask if you qualify!
UDC uses:
- a unique synthesis of positive reinforcement based handling.
- quality, natural treats with limited ingredients.
- USA-made products, whenever humanly possible.
- biodegradable (d2w – read about it and make the switch!) poop bags to reduce our impact on the growing plastic pollution problem.
UDC never uses:
- prong, shock, or choke collars
- force/dominance based methodology
